Slim smart led hdtv manual I've not found a permanent solution to this problem, and Samsung has been less than helpful.

 This TV has a fantastic picture, and represents 3D imagery very well. I've paired it with a Yamaha RX-V673 and am experiencing ONE issue that appears to have no solution when contacting Samsung directly. When using the Audio Return Channel (ARC) over HDMI, the TV forces the receiver into the TVs sound input when turning it on. This is frustrating when switching the devices on first thing in the morning, as I'll hear sound from whatever source I've selected, then nothing. Manually changing the source back to the correct one solves the problem, but only for that viewing period. I've not found a permanent solution to this problem, and Samsung has been less than helpful.I bought this tv because I wanted to simplify my tv systems. I had 4-5 remotes, tv, cable, soundbar, Dlink, DVD. Also couldn't get Amazon streaming with the Dlink. The Samsung remote works everything. It takes a little getting used to but you can figure it out pretty quickly. I was a little worried by some of the reviews about trouble streaming Amazon videos but I've had no problems. The picture quality is fantastic. The sound is pretty good, better than my old tv with a soundbar. I have bad hearing and still need earphones to hear dialogue clearly with movies but the tv speakers do a decent job with dialogue. I'm not a big fan of 3d but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the 3d and it's fun with come movies and my grandkids enjoy it. I also picked this model because it has 4 HDMI inputs so I can get HD hookups from the cable box, DVD/VCR, blu-ray 3d and have one left over, maybe a game consul. The tv is everything I expected and no problems yet.

 Samsung UN46F6400 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Slim Smart LED HDTV I was surprised when it delivered to my home.Becasuse it has many function for viewer.(Internet,WI-Fi,3D,LED and new smart remote control) Samsung Smart TV is the best TV in the world!! Beautiful picture quality, great connections and very accessible. I was maybe expecting too much from the "smart" software; i found it to be kind of slow at times, but overall, I am very pleased with this purchase (first TV I ever bought) and will be buying this similar brand of Samsung TV's in the future.

This is a superb TV with lots of connection options. It is also 3D.

About the 3D. I did not buy this TV for the 3D capability. I think it is a gimmick. After viewing some 3D content off the Samsung app, I still think it is a gimmick. Sure, it is fun to watch for a little bit. But the 3D experience on a TV is not like at IMAX. There are too many other things in the room that distract you from the picture.

However, you should still buy this TV. It costs about $100 more than the 6300 (or 6350) but is well worth it? Why? Because for that money you get "micro-dimming". This feature is worth it! The blacks are really black and the picture works well even in a brightly lit room (and my room has lots of windows). Also, the micro-dimming removes glare. Here is how that works. When the TV is off, there is a lot of glare on my screen. Turn on the TV and the glare disappears. Amazing.

You can read other reviews for the optimum settings. I am connected to a Yamaha receiver using a single HDMI cable on the ARC (Audio Return Channel) and I get great 5.1 surround sound.

What if you pay more? You gain little (some more 3D glasses) by going up one step to the 7100 (7050). Go up to the 7500 and you get better micro-dimming. The 8000 gives you even better micro-dimming. The 9000 is a 4K TV. In my mind none are worth the substantial cost increase for the features that are added.
